At Happy Campers Campground, our mission is simple: to offer a peaceful, welcoming place where families and friends can unplug, slow down, and enjoy the outdoors together.

Our campground is uniquely located with trails that lead directly from your campsite to the Muskegon River, and those trails connect to the North Country Trail, giving guests immediate access to miles of scenic hiking and outdoor exploration. Nestled near the Muskegon River, Croton Pond, and the Croton Dam, and surrounded by hundreds of acres of state land, Happy Campers makes it easy to enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, biking, and quiet time in nature—all without having to leave the campground.

We believe camping should be natural, comfortable, and stress-free. Our wooded, secluded sites and rustic amenities are designed to feel like a true escape, while our relaxed atmosphere allows guests to unwind without the pressure of overly strict rules or resort-style crowds.
